Tus Ojos (Your Eyes)
By Thomas Dean Kellogg
I want to grow flowers the color of your eyes
And gaze at them undisguised, undisturbed by the unknowing crowd,
Unperturbed by the loud protestations,
Undulating under manifestation of light and soul and shadow,
Palpitating heart,
And I without question why,
Wooing wistfully silly
Smile smitten so silly
I lie in a rapturous heap
hoping laughing and dreaming of you
And eyes.
