Moonlight
by  Aurora Antonovic and C.W. Hawes

full moon

gliding up the sky

tonight

you and I my love

have no need for a candle

noon-at-night's

dark cast

can't put a halt

to splendour

that is all our own

your shadow

falls fully upon me

touching

my skin long before

your fingers part my robe

a shared caress

a vestige of a kiss

some things

are better known

by moonlight

in the morning

when the moon is hidden

by the sun

I will look upon your face

and see the glow of moonlight

one thought

holds memories of starlight

within a dream

that sparks and shines while

I taste moonbeams in your kiss
