Sunrise
Deborah  Russell

My beloved stands in silent contemplation
With gentle stroke of breath upon closed eyes
Grand magnitude - seconds realization
When heart’s desire should yield to warm sunrise
And the sky's fully viewed in satin sheen
The gentle sway leans close upon the bay
Such warm pastel beauty there, can be seen
Among spray and mist where we won't stray
Your eyes captivate, reflect the shores
The silent laughter's rhythm in my heart
Between scenes, love has become more and more
Thus giving heart and soul, this finest art

Beloved approach where embers warm, smolder
Drape soft thoughts around this naked shoulder
