Cycles
by Marc Power

Scintillating sacred stars spiral about your hair
Slow and stately, deeper black than anything, anywhere
Sapphire spangles sparking bowl desires lightning soul
The cloak of space unfolds unfurling mysteries untold

I live in light to taste your breath, spill kisses on your skin
Sail in your night drift endlessly as blisses heal my sin
To touch those orbs, caress in wonder windless evenings still
Inspire my core erase each flaw blessed white fire fulfil

Release my care crush dull despair - you raise me to the skies
Ignite my flight with touched delight - put stardust in my eyes
Don't wait for the tomorrow that might follow frantic sighs
Quell my constant sorrow smoothed with hollowed lullabies
