With its placement of bed
In front of the window
Wash stand-face towel
Everything in its place
As it should be
As it was meant to be

Carl Jung said rooms are a symbol
Of the self
What part of the self
Is this room, Vincent?
Could it be the place where
The self is at rest
At peace
From the chaos
That plagues
The mind?
