Three Ekphrastic Haiku
by P.C. Kennedy

Old snow slowly goes,
leaves mud behind; goose droppings
from mother nature.

In the frozen woods
a stream cuts through fallen snow;
slow cold meander.

The park bench empty;
bare trees, a dark broken branch,
snow melts; still winter.
