New Year's Resolution
by Wilda Morris

I have lived long enough to learn
that the easiest questions to answer
are usually not the most crucial
and the answers I have lived by unquestionably
are usually incomplete and not entirely correct.

I have resolved to invest the rest of my life
in wonder, to live in a garden of unanswerable queries,
a forest of indeterminates. This year and henceforth,
I will live my questions and hang out with seekers
whose minds and hearts are open to awe.
