Life with Grampy, a found haiku sequence
by Wilda Morris
catch and release
ritual with Grampy
simpler days
picket fence
serenaded by sunflowers
still life
village by the sea
through heavy gray
walking rain
sax man
longing for spring
sea of sighs
darkness framed
circles of light
acrostic for crows
lady autumn
sweeping through October
sudden mountain rain
Green Mountain
rain, whispering
winds of love
after the memorial
the empty chair
untethered
This haiku sequence was in answer to the Poetry Prompt challenge.
