Flutter
by Marc power

Come the rainbow arc of morning
Form its bridge across the sky
Hear the sacred song she utters
My beloved, she who flutters

Starling rain confetti petals
soft as snowflakes, slowly settles
Yellow cup of golden butters
My beloved, she who flutters

The fragrant sweet smell of the jasmine
And the red bell of hibiscus
Dragonfly, who swoops and stutters
My beloved, she who flutters

Every intake, exhalation
Divine is her intoxication
Sacred mantra, soft, she mutters
My beloved, she who flutters

I should not speak her praises solely
From high places, also lowly
High Olympus, rooftops, gutters
My beloved, she who flutters

The steed she rides, of starry face
Moonlight shines on our embrace
Gaze on her beauty, thru the shutters
My beloved, she who flutters

Fireflies grace the velvet night
My heart is full, with her delight,
Sailing ships, tall-masted cutters
My beloved, she who flutters

A thousand lifetimes have I loved her
Amber eyes and sublime hair,
Dance together, twirl and strutter
My beloved, shall endless flutter
