Kaila's Corn Bread
from the kitchen of Kaila Chan

2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups cornmeal
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (melted)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Sift together flour, cornmeal, baking soda and salt.

In separate bowl, beat eggs and add butter, brown sugar and buttermilk. Blend well.  Add dry
ingredients and blend again.

Spoon into greased 9"x13" baking pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. 

Makes 14-16 servings.
