White Sangria de España
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John
1 bottle of chilled white wine (Albarino, Chablis, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Rioja, Sauvignon Blanc)
½ cup Peach Schnapps
¼ cup sugar
2 frozen peaches, sliced
1 orange, sliced
½ peeled frozen mango, sliced
½ liter of ginger ale or club soda
Pour wine and Schnapps into a pitcher and add
sliced peach, orange, and mango. Next add
sugar and stir gently. Chill mixture for at
least one hour. Add ginger ale or club soda
just before serving. Serve over ice in chilled
bubble glasses.
NOTE: This recipe contains alcohol. Drink responsibly!
