Papaya with Blueberries
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St.John

4 small ripe papayas
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 ¼ cups blueberries
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
freshly ground black pepper or ground dried papaya seeds

Thinly peel the papayas; cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds.

Brush the papaya with the lime juice and put any remaining juice in the hollowed-out fruit.

Mix the blueberries and sugar together and spoon them into the papaya halves.

Sprinkle with black pepper or dried papaya seeds.
