Skinny Margarita
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland St. John

1 lime
1 ½ ounces tequila
6 ounces no calorie lemon-lime soda
½ teaspoon diet lemonade crystals
Sea salt

Cut the lime in half, then cut a slice for
the garnish. Set aside. Squeeze the juice
from the remaining lime halves into a shot
glass to measure one ounce. Pour the tequila
and lemon lime soda into the blender. Add
the fresh lime juice, the powdered lemonade
mix and ice. Blend. Pour some of the sea
salt onto a saucer. Rub the rim of a chilled
margarita glass with the lime slice. Dip into
the saucer of salt and twirl to coat the rim.
Pour the blended margarita into the glass
place a lime slice on the rim and serve.
