Arrogant Apples

They were dazzling red,
Juicy and delicious.
But they lounged in that crystal bowl
like they owned the place.

So, I cut ‘em down to size
with my wife’s
Ginsu knife.

Time to find those
disingenuous oranges
hiding in the fridge.
