Christopher's Garden
by Sharmagne Leland-St. John

Morning glories abound
twining up potting shed wall
reflected in panes of window glass
encroaching wherever they climb

Awake with sunrise
amidst a leafy array
nodding their purple heads
in a gentle breeze
hummingbirds hover

The trees are full
with the buzz of bees
