Earl Grey Oatmeal
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John

1 cup boiled water
1 Earl Grey tea bag
½ cup oats

Bring water to a roiling boil. Remove from heat source.
Add the tea bag and steep for 5 minutes. Return to heat
and bring to a second boil. Stir in oats and reduce to
medium heat and cook for 1 minute stirring occasionally.
Cover, remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes.

Editors Note:
You may also replace the water and tea bag in this recipe
with cranberry juice and add dried cranberries to the
oatmeal before serving. Another interesting choice would
be spiced apple cider as the liquid, with sliced pears
for the fruit
