November morning
a hot cuppa
haiku

biking the backroad
cowbells
on a scarecrow

wind gust
as we leave the stadium
roar of the crowd

oak leaves letting loose
Saturday night
on the town

homesick for Grandmother
and her gingerbread
my first Thanksgiving after

another gray day
Grandchildren creating
sunshine
