Deep Autumn Provoked Deep Longing
by Bing Hua
translated by Yingcai Xu

Even air seems heavy
Roses bloom silently
And the feeling of longing permeates quietly

In the air, the geese flutter their wings toward the south
My longing turns into propitious clouds to fly to you

Time span
Cannot be measured by days
The increasing sense of longing
Stretches each second to a thousand years
… Daytime is longing and nighttime longing too

This deep autumn
My longing is like evening twilight
Painfully burning the clouds
And dying red the edge of the sky
