ABOUT THE BOOK:

Fishing for Intellectual Meteors is a thin volume. Don’t be fooled. jacob erin-cilberto’s latest project is immense in poetic style and in human wisdom. Even the titles draw you in as they speak to this poet’s controlling metaphor: “Fishing.” Exactly what erin-cilberto is fishing for and how he gets there, not surprisingly, requires a thorough study of the work. With titles such as “Love is our Jacket,” “Storms of a Different Nature,” “Like a Wright Brothers Sonnet,” and “Sands in My Synonyms,” this is a book you won’t want to put down.

ADVANCE PRAISE:

Reading jacob erin-cilberto is like drinking fine wine, best inhaled slowly, his trademark phrasing appreciated, his meanings savored, and his oft-surprising endings lingered over.
–Vicki Cox, author of Dancing with a one-handed typist, a Waltz of Words

jacob erin-cilberto’s newest collection is filled with provocative, emotive, and colorful language that is palpable. His writing never fails to sublimely spin the cogs in your mind.
–Patricia E. DeJong, author of From this side of the Picture Window

In jacob’s latest book, the reader gets to experience, once again, the heart of this poet as he unapologetically treads upon subjects that everyone needs to be aware of but are hesitant to touch. He does so with creative metaphor, sincerity and always with a dash of humor.
–Lynda G. Bullerwell, author of Love Letters

Every poem in this book is a universe where the sky crackles with the poet’s brilliance and words become soulful rain for the reader. His matchless wit breathes such life into each poem, the reader loves, laughs and cries along with him.
–Divya Nelson, author of A Heart in the Clouds
