Bookshelf Dreams*
by Kathy Lohrum Cotton

I am
the dream keeper.
I dream a world
dancing with joy,
breaking bounds–
dance of the bones,
the hearts of horses,
the footprints of love
left behind.

Dear friend,
come dream with me.
Imagine
arcs of light,
rainbows on the moon,
all things bright and beautiful.

Imagine
oceans of peace,
deep peace
to bless the space between us.
I’ll be there
in the silence.

*Book-Spine Poem: Each line is a published book title; each stanza, a stack of book-spines.
