Morning breaks
Clouds peer
At their own reflection
On Cedar Lake's
Rippled surface

Soon the
Mute swans
Will awake
To partake
Of another
Glorious day
In this small
Out of the way
Village retreat

Sara will take
The dogs for a walk
Now and then
Offering a treat

Perhaps she'll
Skip stones
Or talk on her phone
On this dew
Dampened morning
As she takes in this
Gorgeous sunrise view
On Cedar Lake
