Leftover Turkey Sandwich
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John
Leftover turkey, thinly sliced
Irish cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
Shredded red cabbage
4 thin slices of Granny Smith apple (in the round)
Aioli mayonnaise, to taste
Thinly sliced dark, hard-crust bread
Lay the sliced bread on a plate. Slather with
the aioli. Place the turkey, cheese and cabbage,
on top of one slice. Add the apples and another
layer of the turkey, cheese and cabbage, starting
with the cabbage.
Place the other slice of bread on top. Cut in half
and serve.
