4th of July Sangria
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John

1 bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz)
1 lemon, juice and rinds
1 blood orange, juice and rinds
6 large strawberries, cut into bits
1 white peach, cut into bits
1 handful of blue berries
1 Granny Smith apple diced
1/2 cup brandy
2 cups Italian lemon soda, carbonated

Cut the lemons and oranges in half and squeeze the juice into a pitcher. Cut them into quarters,
and then eighths, then into small bits. Add them to the pitcher (leaving out seeds if possible).
Add the other fruit. Pour the wine and brandy in. Chill overnight if possible. Add chilled lemon
soda or ginger ale just before serving.

You may add ice to each glass or to the pitcher.

This recipe contains alcohol.
Please drink responsibly!
