Lavender Ginger Beer Mocktail
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St.John


1 ounce blackberry purée 
1½ ounces Lavender syrup 
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
A splash of rose water
Ginger beer
A fresh blackberry, a lavender flower, or a piece of candied ginger for garnish. 

Combine the blackberry purée, lavender syrup, lemon juice, and the splash of rose water in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
Strain the mixture into a tall serving glass filled with fresh ice.
Fill the glass with your favorite high-quality non-alcoholic ginger beer.
Finish the drink by garnishing it.
