They circle
In a never-ending
Dance.
Two Planets
Revolving
In orbits
Of fixed
Circumstance.

They can but glance
Across the fire of desire,
Which both draws and repels
In equal force.
A balance
Dreadful!
Safe!

So,
They will dance
Eternally,
Eyes
Searching the void
For a way to cross
Other than in dreams
