The most beautiful autumn forest in the world, by Sanghyan Jeong

Stream in Autumn
by Michael Escoubas

Her sanctuary
was the stream
and the trees
and the light
breaking through
tall birches and elms
clothed in orange
and yellow robes–

they welcomed her
as they would a friend
gave her a place
among them.
The water’s blueness
and the fragrant
breeze floated freely
through her light hair

gathered her burdens
to the winds
she felt lighter then
than she had ever been–
she wondered …
might there be a Source
behind it all, a purpose
vibrant in the light autumn air?
