summer days no more
rose of sharon smiles last blooms
soon frost from the north

blackeyed susans droop
squirrel cheeks round with acorns
autumn clouds hasten

yellow butterflies
honeybees and weeping squash
chicken peck nearby

little silver fish
split inlet water surface
seven pelicans

christmas cactus plant
wind gusts topple bamboo stand
price of forgetting
