Sunset over the azure sea
Black clouds full of rain
pummel the celadon waves
Our little boat tips and dips
in the troughs
changing the horizon
dramatically
Sun flares reflect on my camera lens
This is not the photo I wanted it to be.
I had envisioned
seagulls and rainbows
with a fiery backdrop
of tangerine.
