Remember
by Sharmagne Leland-St. John

remember the rhythm
of this
champagne universe
as you dance naked
translucent
to the bone
our limbs
braided, intertwined
you who were born
to haunt my heart
an ice angel
whose cold steel breath
paints the vapid morning
like dark perfumed smoke
tantalizes and seeps
through the liquid velvet night
to  penetrate the ecstasy
of my animal dreams
