As Thoughts Fly, by Deborah DeWit

Out of the Gloaming
by Lenora Rain-Lee Good

Cold, the winds off the lake
Dark, the trees on the far shore
Quiet, the kitchen with the cooling stove
Shrieking, a mob of crows flies
over the lake,
through the house–
which spirit will depart this night?
