Lavash Pizza
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St.John

1 sheet of lavash bread
Cream cheese or Boursin
Tomato paste
Tomato sauce
Cooked Italian sausage, diced into rounds or ground
Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
Fresh basil
Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
Grated cheese of your choice
(Mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan, Romano, etc.
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Olive oil

Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 400° F.

Line a cake pan the same size as the lavash with parchment paper.
Lay the bread into the pan.
In a frying pan, cook the sausage.

Carefully spread the soft cheese on the entire piece of lavash.

Add the tomato paste and spread it around.

On top of that add the sausage then the tomato sauce, followed by the tomatoes, basil and olives. (Maybe fennel seeds and oregano as well)

Cover the entire top with the grated cheese or cheeses.

Sprinkle with the red pepper flakes.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle a bit of olive oil on the Pizza and serve.

Editor's Note:
The pizza will be very thin crusted and creamy. It might be easier to remove it from the pan by lifting the parchment paper out with the pizza on it.
