In distant lands
sound and fury fill
the sky,
nights painted
with tracer hate
for "them"
terror lives in our minds
where once the light of a child lived
our good and their evil stalk
eyes for eyes demanded
tears and blood so blind
that neither can see
that both have become
one
joined in passion
lost in the love of
hate
