ADVANCE PRAISE:
“Sheila Elliott’s Memory Coin grabbed me from the very first poem. It’s a collection that shines a quiet light on the people and places we don’t want to forget. With grit and grace, her poems show us what it means to survive to notice the small things, to feel loss, and still keep going. They draw on memory without being confined by it. These pieces feel alive and fresh, like a wise friend pulling up a chair, ready to listen and gently remind you what matters most. This is a collection you’ll return to again and again; not just for its beauty, but the comfort it brings.”. –Valerie Gee, author of Shallow Death and Perfect Peril
“Sheila Elliott’s poetry will send you on a journey deep within yourself, releasing memories buried, purposely or not, and splatter them across your heart to cherish once again.” –Diane Macey, author of A Change of Heart and Journey to Love

FROM THE BOOK:
Age Coils Within
by Sheila Elliott
Age coils within, beneath skin. We are more every day. Time’s quickly shed and age’s fragile thread in life’s intricate crochet.
Age coils within Pins prick skin, lifetimes go astray. That careful plan is a woven strand that may unravel or fray.
Age coils within neither heart nor skin, will stop a thread from being sprung, or hold that fragile weave of the life we thought we’d lead when all our plans had just begun .
