This painting is titled Autumn Tangle (1920), created by the prominent American
artist, geologist, and anthropologist William Henry Holmes. 

The original piece is a vibrant watercolor depicting a dense forest glowing with rich,
warm autumn tones, and it belongs to the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum
