Wildflower Dotted Meadows
by Sharmagne Leland-St.John

Wildflower dotted meadows
So green in the spring
Under summer’s hot sun
Turn to brown
In the fall

Wildflower dotted meadows
Bees and butterflies bring
Pollinating each and every one
Lie down
And listen to the meadowlarks call

Wildflower dotted meadows
Make my heart sing
When day is done
The birds have flown
I’ve enjoyed it all
